# Can you have Fibro and not be tired

It seems to me that Fatigue is always listed as a fibro symptom, but as I don’t have abnormal fatigue my doctors keep ruling out fibro as a diagnosis. I have all the other muscle pain symptoms and after three years and alot of research, fibro is still the closest to the symptoms I am experiencing. Do other people have fibro pain but not the fatigue? Perhaps I need to find another doctor who is more openminded.

I honestly don’t think so. That’s just inmo, tho.

Have you been diagnosed, for RA… rheumatoid arthritis, tho?  
I’ve heard w/ just that, you might not be so tired.  
I have both RA and Fibro and have learnt that its, Fibro, more then anything, that keeps me tired.

I hope you find a solution.

I agree with Whisperedwind. I’ve certainly never heard of such a thing. I think you’re right; it’s time to find another doctor. Personally, I’ve given up on them. I’ve decided I’m in charge of my health care. I have modified my diet and started using essential oils and I’ve got so much less stress in my life - just from cutting out the doctors. I use them for structural things - like my knee, but they have no understanding of things like Fibromyalgia and disease in general - not when pills are all they have in their medical bags.
