I also read where CFS can cause weight loss. My doc said that I also have ME/CFS. I didn’t understand what she was saying at first because she called it Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. Really? Speak english! LOL Anyway, I think that is what is causing all this weight loss. I’m not complaining but am a little concerned.
If I eat a lot, it makes me feel sick. If I eat where I am comfortable, I lose about 4 lbs a week! If this continues I am going to have to go back and ask about what I can take to help me maintain my weight.
We were just discussing weight gain and FM, and I wondered why I was losing weight and started looking. This site is so good for that, to keep you asking questions and wanting to know more.

I'd look into it further if I were you. For instance I had the same problem. Found out it was caused by a stomach ulcer. So try to see if there's an underlying cause that's making you feel ill when you eat. BTW: Not trying to imply that your problem is a stomach ulcer, I was just using my problem as an example.
Hi Tina, I’m so sorry you are having such a hard time, but I have to say I’m impressed your dr was familiar with the term ME , I did read that it can cause weight loss, but yours seems like a lot, have you seen a GI dr ? I would be concerned also… Wt loss can be caused from other things, sometimes a dr, is just to quick to blame a symptom on fibro/ or CFS , until you feel comfortable that that’s what it is, keep going back & stressing the issue, see another dr, if you have to.
My. Daughter just complained about the same thing today " if I eat a lot it makes me sick " she has had some anxiety issues lately, do u have bad anxiety ? Although she has had wt gain , not loss
I think your loss is to much… Please get this checked out more closely
