Hey everybody, I was fantasizing about how wonderful it would be, that if sometime in the future we all met somewhere for dinner and see how far we have come in terms of managing our Fibro. We would have SO much to talk about, wouldn't we? Although I have only been on this site for a little over 2 weeks, I feel like you are all my neighbors!! LOL Maybe this could happen sometime, I don't know. We will have to see! Love and hugs to all! Laurie

hi Laurie i have thought of this too. how nice it would be to see our fibro family in person. i know for many traveling is really hard. but if he had the meeting somewhere where its very cozy and home like where we could all be comfortable mabye making the trip wouldnt seem so bad. i have been on this site for close to a year and in that time i have made many very close friends.. i feel like if we were to visit one another it would be like we friends forever.
i hope that you get as much from this site as me and i am sure u will. there are so many wonderful people on here. people who really do care and understand what we go through.

With all our luck....here is what would happen....we all make plans. Than have all get too sick to make it! lol!Of course though...all of us would understand.That would be great part.
What about Skype?! .since they now have the group calls...you can add people on same call so would be one giant group. Plus, they have video so for those that would like to do it by video and those who do not feel comfortable do not need to. It is free, and we could do it from comfort of our homes.
Just have been central time for US, or do we include Hawaii, England and think there are few from Australia or i might be thinking of another site i use...now think it is other site.
Just one person would need to start call...as others call in can accept them. People would need to space out a it times to call in so person answering would not get flooded. Hmm, i wonder if more than one person could do group calls, than connect like 4 groups to main one? So people on west coast call person, Mtn, East and southern states, Tie Hawaii in with Western states.
If someone knows a lot about skype ...is this possible? Be very cool if we could.
I’m going to check with my IT dept. at work. Some of our classes Skype with speakers etc. and I think this would be a great idea. I think we all can talk faster than we can type, which is often painful at times. Will get back to you all about this. Great idea!

If you have not used it, try it!! You will be amazed at the great quality plus it is FREE long distance!!
I also did glance at Group Calls and there does not seem to be limit but often that is in smaller print.
So hopefully your IT guys can say for sure.
Also, for shy people, you do not have to use web cam. It very clearly ask if you want your call to include web or just be voice call. Even safer yet they can put small piece of electrical tape over web camera if it is built into their laptop etc.
I am glad you like the idea! For those of you who have tried it , it is free way to make long distance calls.
Also, Google has great phone feature that save minutes on your cell phone. I also urge any who cannot afford a large amount of cell minutes yet constantly going over to check it out. I just like it since any voice messages are text to both my cell phone and computer.
