I have been approved by Epic Genetics to have the blood draw done. It tests reaction of proteins in certain white blood cells, 100 of them. A score of 50 is a positive test. They will also test to see if there are genetic markers for it.

Hi Cindy, I am very interested in how the results come out. I asked my Rheumatologist about this new test for FM, but she said that it is not FDA approved, so she does not recommend that I spend the money on it. I believe that there will eventually be a test for it - I hope that this is it. Please let us know! 🙂
