Variations: Add a few sprigs of fresh rosemary if you have it.

Ingredients: Ginger * Rosemary *

Prep: Bath :Make a strong tea with grated fresh ginger, about 1 1\2 cups of water to a tablespoon of ginger. Strain and add to bath water, with 6 drops of rosemary essential

Ingredients: Cat's Claw *

Prep: Tincture:

The healing alkaloids in cat's claw tinctures are released from tannins by the action of acid in the stomach. If they are absorbed through the tongue, they lose their effect. For this reason, you should always take cat's claw tincture with at least 6 ounces (3/4 cup) of water to avoid absorption through the tongue. You can add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or 1 teaspoon of vinegar to the water to increase the acidity of the solution. When brewing Cat's claw as a tea, add lemon.

GYN,

Thanks for including some natural ways to treat fibro. Ginger is supposed to have other medical uses as well; it seems to be quite a handy dandy root to have around. And tasty in Chinese food, too!

I sure wish that I had a big ole tub with those nice jet streams (can't think of the right term, sorry) to soak in for a nice, long time, along with the ginger.

Petunia Girl,

Yes ginger is very good to keep. It's good for flu too. Put some ginger in rice to get rid of flu.
