My grandmother, her mother, her mother, and as far back as we can remember, the women of my mother's family have had a 'Dowagers hump' on their back. this is also refered to as Kyphosis. I have inherited the autoimmune diseases that cause this. There is an area of my back that my mother fears is this very thing. Yet another topic of conversation for my Doctors this month. I will read the info, SK, and thank you for it, as someone in my family also has this. I always thought it was from a lack of calcium. I'm glad to have an article to learn more about it, so am grateful that you included it.
I hope you don't get the hump, SK. It doesn't seem fair to have all that you have, let alone have to worry about this on top of everything else. I know, I sound like a little kid when I say, "not fair, not fair!" and that's how I feel.
