# Is this because of the Fibro?

Good morning everyone!1 Did we all sleep well last night?? I doubt it!! LOL For about 3 weeks now, I have been suffering from what is called "dry mouth'' - or another way to say it is''cotton mouth'' I sometimes don't have enough saliva and it's so annoying when I get it. I am not dehydrated either. Do those of you who have FIbro, have this problem?? I bought some Biotene, recommended by my dentist. I haven't used it yet - I think I will try it today. I do know that dry mouth can mean it's because I am getting older. Getting older is NOT fun - and I don't recommend it to anyone!! LOL Love, Laurie

this could be a side effect from medications you are taking. I occasionally get dry mouth too. Usually at the most annoying times when I have little to no access to a drink. Or when talking to a group of people.

HI Lyra - Thank you for mentioning this!! Last week I started to take Elavil. It works for me, but I am going to go a few days without it and see if my problem clears up. I appreciate you mentioning this, because I totally forgot to consider that one of my meds might be the cause!! Hugs, Laurie
