Woo hoo! I am so proud of you and happy for you. You rock! Hugs, MB
I’m hoping to find a good one too. Have one in my sights for the end if the month and praying she is all that they say she is. A holistic neurologist who specializes in pain management. Would like to be off the klonopin by then.
I too have a few prescriptions that I never filled after researching all the side effects and long term effects on ones body. I count on my pharmacist a lot for interactions, as some docs don’t seem to know.
What natural sleeping pills are working for you? I am game for anything right now. Melatonin, liquid magnesium did nothing. I’ve been doing my deep breathing so much my chest is so sore when I wake up!
Sandi I sent you an e-mail .
Hey Petunia Girl,
Thank you for your encouraging message! Tomorrow marks a week of me being off! Yes and praise the Lord!
I joined the Lupus group before I joined this one. Lupus is tricky and who knows about getting a solid Dx? It takes years sometimes. The Lupus group is nice too!
To God be the glory. He is so good. Today is one week off Tram!
Today is one week off Tramadol! Praise Him. Withdrawal pains are getting weaker too.
Excellent! This is wonderful, GYN! How wonderful that you're getting beyond the addiction AND the pains associated with it. It's scary to think of how easy it is to get addicted and how HARD it is to get out of the addiction. It's definitely a shame that the meds that are supposed to take our pain AWAY actually can give us MORE pains.
Frustrating how auto-immune illnesses (plus fibro) can take so long to diagnose. I agree with SK, it'd be nice if doctors would diagnose us with the illnesses years before the damage is done. But unless they develop better tests to know what's going on, I don't see it as happening.
At any rate, a Happy, Healthy and pain-free New Year to you, GYN, and everyone else on here.
Petunia
Hey PG,
Thank you thank you! It can happen to anyone. I hope I can be of help to people.
