I was at work one night (I deliver newspapers, residentialy) when I had a conversation with a male coworker/friend. His wife was diagnosed with Fibro say 6ish years ago. She takes around 16 or so medications mixed with vitamins. He swears up & down by a product from GNC called Mega Man. Anyone heard of it? Is something like that ok to take with 150mlg of lyrica? I normally take other medications besides my lyrica like vitamin d, vitamin c, b12 rose complex, & I think I might be forgetting one, but I can't remember. I know you're not giving me medical advice, you're not doctors. What medications including vitamins does everyone take? This is for what & that does this. Maybe we all take certain medications for certain symptoms, & maybe we all may find out some great advice, especially for the newly diagnosed. As long as crack or herion aren't disclosed in your daily regiment, LoL, l think it's safe to state what you take, how much, what It's for, what works, what doesn't etc. What helps best for sleep, appetite, pain, muscle aches, joint pain, burning & so on & so fourth. Thanks a lot!!

Gentle Hugs

Hi Allie,

I am on 450mg of lyrica which worked really well at first. It helped me sleep and took away a lot of the pain. (Took a long time to get over the side affects- but I felt being able to sleep was worth it) I can still sleep but the pain has been really bad for the past year.

Then I was given Celebrex for pain and burning/hot hands. This did take away the burning and heat ...then I just had cold painful hands....after awhile my hands became usuable again.

I also take Nexium for GERD.

I usually take muscle back pills for neck/shoulder pain on top of these.

I recently had to stop taking the Celebrex as I now have been diagnosed with a fatty liver. I have also had to try to cut back on the muscle back too as Acetaminaphin is not good for a fatty liver!

So I am using my rice bag alot and hoping for new methods of pain relief at my next doctors appointment.Vi

Vitamins include: B12, D, E

Hope this helps.
