Good evening everyone. Hope you had a nice day today :).

Does anyone have any advice on dealing with the fatigue that comes with menstrual cycle? I have noticed now with the fibro, I am exhausted much more during my cycle. Is there anything you can suggest? Is this an iron issue? I have yet to talk with my doctor. I need to be on a stretcher before I decide it's time to go to the doctor! ;) LOL. I know I need to be better about that... Anyhow, any suggestions on what could be causing the big drop in energy or what might help- vitamins, food etc...?

Thanks as always,

L.

Hi, boy can I remember that feeling… When I was first dx with fibro, blood work showed iron deficiency anemia, this went on until I finally had a uterine ablation, best thing I ever had done, no more periods and no more anemia…
Unfortunately my fatigue is related to CFS, but I do remember my fatigue would get worse during that lovely time, I had my ablation in sep, 2012 and 4 months no period… Finally my iron level is almost normal, I still get some cramps when I should be getting it, but not as bad.
I recommend a visit to your dr.
Hugs & blessings
