ailing, bedridden, broken down, confined, debilitated, declining, defective, delicate , disordered, down, feeble, feverish, frail, funny*, green*, ill, impaired, imperfect, in a bad way, in poor health, incurable, indisposed, invalid, laid-up, lousy, nauseated, not so hot, peaked, poorly, qualmish, queasy, rickety, rocky, rotten, run down, suffering, tottering, under medication, under the weather, unhealthy, unwell, weak, wobbly ......All the above describes me this week.I was at the Dr. last week getting injections in my back, and 27 test from my blood work that came back good for me but back today getting another injection in my upper right trigger point. I haven't slept so a change of meds again for me and also increase of dosage. I just want to feel better and it's not happening. I know we all feel like this on any given day but am I ever tired of this. I truely would just love one week of feeling like my old self..... A warm welcome to all the newcomers to the group and Happy Birthday to all those that I missed. Praying for a good weekend for all of us. Gentle Hugs to all, Robin
Hi Robin, WOW !!! I think you have covered every adjective that describes what we have all wanted to say on more than one occasion , for sure. I would love just one day of feeling like my old self… I give you kudo’s for wanting a whole week …
I hope those injections help, loosing sleep is absolutely the worse thing ever, they should be able to invent something that we just connect to our brain that we can shut off and it puts us into a stage. 4 deep sleep for how ever long we program it… Like for me I could use 12 hrs with out ever waking up… Ah the thought !!
Hugs & blessings
It’s so amazing to see all the newcomers, you do such a great job giving them a warm welcome !!
stay strong

Thanks Dee, Looking up the word sick gave me everyone of those adjectives plus a few more lol. What a terrible week, and darned if I am still feeling yucky. My injection hurts so bad and has a bit of swelling. Time to hide under the bed covers again j/k. I am in disbelief as to how many newcomers we have in just this past week. It just shows us how important this site is for all. I think we all do a good job welcoming the newcomers and we are so lucky to have a great Mod group. You all are the "BEST". ... Glad to be back to my Fibro Family, Gentle Hugs, xoxo Robin
Dear Robin
I am so sorry to hear about what you are going through now and for quite awhile if memory serves me right. It's no fun to feel yucky day after day. It's awful when you feel so unwell and are bedridden and still you don't get any relief! I've noticed that you haven't been as active on the site lately. But Robin we all have times when we feel yucky so don't force yourself to welcome newcomers. With as many Moderators there should be some people on hand to take care of this. It's time to take care of YOU. So,take some time for yourself and don't feel guilty about it. Just do it till you really feel better. You know that Scott would give you the same advice. Rest and bed seem the best way to take care of yourself. When you're tired and rundown that's when you catch everything that's all you can do is to rest and sleep and take care of your body. Then when you're feeling stronger come back to us. Just don't come back too soon/
Gentle hugs
Rachel
Lisa, Thank you so much. You have came to a great place and we do understand. If you ever need anything please just ask. By the way Welcome, I think you will really enjoy this site and meet so many people that are in the same place you are... Gentle Hugs to you, Robin
Hi Stephanie, I sure hope you are doing much better. Mines just a little boo boo compared to all you have been through these past few months. I really wish I had been busy with Baby Emma, she is growing so fast and her personality is really starting to come out now, we did stop by yesterday to see her after the Dr. and I said she has grown an inch lol. Oh and we are very lucky that my sons girlfriend is a photographer, and her and my daughter come up with all those cute pics. Thanks for the prayers, we can all sure use them. If I see you up Ill give you a call. Lots of hugs, xoxo Robin
Thank you so much Rachel, I am just missing the site lol and needed a change of scenery. The couch and more sun light is looking nice right now.... I sure hope I am on they way to mending. Well if you notice Im missing again you know why. Thanks so much again. Hope you have a nice weekend, Hugs, xoxo, Robin
Wow Robin.
You did an excellent job on describing all of the feelings we all experience dealing with this mysterious illness. I wish you well and hope you find some kind of an answer to make some of those words positive ones someday. I am sure you are just venting which is a good thing to do on this site without judgement. I wish I had time to read all of the posts put here but it might take me a year or so to get to them all. This is a large group but I can tell it is also a caring one.
Thanks Gina, and yes this group is caring and always here for each other...Hugs,Robin
HI Robin,
Those injections will get you girl, even if they eventually help, they get you at first! Sounds like rest, TLC, and adjusting to the meds, and sleep will help you get there! Hope you are not getting the flu! You are probably a couple quarts low on blood at this point!
Feel better very soon!
Thanks so much SK. I trying really hard to rest.
