Question to people who have had fibro awhile

I am on both, but now tampering off cymbalta it’s the worst. I feel very sick. Tramadol does help. Its a catch 22 don’t take anything or take something that may help.

Been on 50mg of lyrica now for a few days. The good news is I don’t have any side effects from it. It gives me mild relief for about 8 hours. Online it says 300mg is for full pain relief benefit. So I’m hoping the dr will increase it next month or I’ll call in a few weeks and ask to up dosage over the phone. My wife and I scheduled her c section for this Tuesday so I’m very excited to meet my new son. I was hoping to be pain free to help my wife more but I’ll just play it by ear. I’m going to see a foot dr in the morning about the arthritis my dr found in my big toes. Hopefully he can fix them some how. My dr did say I have fibro but also thinks steroid injections in my feet and orthotic insoles will help with the foot pain. If he will give the steroid shots in my feet I’ll take them tomorrow before work. Hope everyone is comfy in bed relaxing with minimal pain!

Hi Tony, that is exciting about your new son! I wish you and your wife a smooth, easy delivery and a healthy baby boy!

I have heard there are some lawsuits or pending ones on cymbalta. My therapist wanted to do this too. I told her I am staying with the zoloft. The withdrawal effects for cymbalta are horrible and people have been staying on them to avoid them. (2012). Some lawsuits were August 8 and 11,2014
