I thought about my brother while watching the clip, he is having such a hard time post bilateral lung transplant, ( 9 months now) the Eagle has been a symbol of inspiration when he was first put on the list. I’m def going to share this with him, I know he is still in the transformation process…

Hi dee, are you aware that in some cases they use biologics, such as Enbrel, Humira, for patients during this adjustment time, are they using any for him?
I hope that he improves and adjusts, give him a big hug for me!

Hi SK, wow I didn’t know that, I’m going to mention this to my brother, as he recovers he sounds like me… Constant pain, & fatigue although he just had a blood transfusion because the one rejection med, has downed his blood count. So we are hoping that he begins to feel better, his immune system is so low, he keeps having other problems, today it’s sores in his mouth, last week, bleeding sores in his rectum… He wasn’t this sick with his old lungs… It’s been so hard on him, and he is the sweetest man I know!!! Never complains…ugh… it’s breaking my heart to see him suffer.
