# Travel and meds

Im going to dominican in may but ive jist come across a article on google thats worried me (but i do over think a lot) anyway im taking amatriptyline and tramadol would i be ok to take them my chemist says tramadol comes under controled substances i dont want to be getting attacked bu drig dogs lol.  
Is there anything i could do before hand to male sure i can take my meds with me??

hi zoe.. i am just thinking that if you have them in the original prescription bottle it should be ok but i think maybe to call the airline and ask about this. i mean people do travel and have to take their meds with them. i always keep my meds in a tote bag that can be kept over head. i would never put them in a suitcase and checked in the baggage \> i am always afraid that the baggage could get lost etc.. so i keep my meds near me.. all the best

I am worried my luggage will go missing and il be wearing a bin bag for a week, ive tryed to find info on line but there isnt much i will ring the airline, i do worry to much i wouldnt be goin away at all of my partner had’nt suprised me a few months back i like to stay in my comfort zone…
