Weight loss or lack thereof

Anyone else have problems losing / maintaining weight? I'm a lacto-ovo vegiatarian (I eat dairy & eggs) and have a reasonable diet of ~1200-1500 cals a day which is limited to <25g fat. (along the lines of the "Eat More, Weigh Less" diet by Dr Dean Ornish). I also take vitamins to compensate for items such as zinc which one would normally get from meat. Anyway, it took me more than a year to lose 15 lbs which seems painfully slow based upon my calorie intake and the amount of exercise I perform.

Are there diets or weight management techniques which are more effective for those of us with fibro?
