# Would Anyone Like to Be a Volunteer Moderator?

Hi Everyone - hope you are enjoying site. We set it up so folks could connect and share info and support. The network is really what you make it and it's growing really nicely. I can see lot's of love and support happening here on a daily basis.
Most of you probably know that Ben's Friends ([www.bensfriends.org](http://www.bensfriends.org/)) runs this group and we run 34 other sites just like it. A big part of providing support and having a great network is having dedicated Moderators. In the early days this involves greeting people when they join and spreading the word on Facebook and blogs about the site.
We're incredibly blesses to have a wonderful group of existing Moderators, but since the site has grown so much, we could use a little bit more help.
Does anyone want to volunteer? We'd love to have your help. We can have another Ben's Friends Moderator train and help you out. And you can always ask me questions. :)

I would be interested. I was taken of work yesterday and will be home all the time. My concern would be i am from Alabama and i tend to type with a southern accent. Thank you

I would love to help as a moderator. I am a fibro and osteo-arth patient. I teach high school English. Please let me know what the next steps would be. I cannot give a lot of time, but I could do a few hours each week.

Hi Scott I am willinging to heip, but I have chronic forms of Fibro, CF,Migraine headaches, apart from that I'm great I have got a good sense of humur and an a retired RN till I ended up sicker then the peopleI I was looking after it was quiet ironic really but if I could be of help I certainly would especially to the newly diagnosed. Ithink that really is the pits for them unless you're lucky enough to get a good GP first go and what's the chances of that. Anyway if you think I have something to contribute I need a knew challenge it's good for my brain. I am from Melbourne Australia Jeannie
