Gratitude

I've been waiting over a year to see a therapist and finally had my first appointment today. WELL,talk about draining!

As I was pouring my heart out to her,I told her that I had found a support group for people with Fibromyalgia and how great it is. I also told her how wonderful and loving you all are and how much you've helped me along this new path I'm on.

When the session was over and I got up to leave, she held out an container with white board markers in an array of colours. She said she liked to end her sessions on a positive note so she gets her patients to write two things that they're thankful for on the white board. So I picked a spot amongst all the other things her patients had written and wrote My Daughter and My Support Group.

I'm sharing this because I want you all to know how you've impacted my life and how grateful I am for that. Whether it's the sharing of information or emotional support, you've made this journey so much easier and I can truly feel the love and sincerity in your words.

Big Hugs and Much Love

Hello Carolyn

I am so glad the support group is helping you. It is good to hear news like this.

I think it's just as important , if not more, to share the good stuff.

:-)

that is really lovely!!!!

Wow, Carolyn, that's great to know. It's great to know that support can bring a person back to life after being beaten down by fibro and all of the stupid comments that go along with it. Your therapist must have been quite proud of you. I know I am.
