I have been having issues for the past few weeks with my hands cramping and being painfully still. I work on a computer all day for my job and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of what I can do to help with the pain.
I meant painfully stiff above.

See figure 6. I saw a medical receptionist use one of these, I asked about it and she said she has RA, and that this keyboard has really lowered her hand, wrist and finger pain.
Thanks SK. I have never seen this before and will ask my IT person if this is something he can do. I have a laptop that I bring out to client sites but I think you can usually attach a separate keyboard to it and work from that keyboard.
Get the braces they use for carpal tunnel syndrome. And take an anti inflammatory.
Hi, have you tried taking magnesium? I don't know about hands, but it helps with leg cramps. Good luck, Charlie :)
Thank you I will try the brace as I have one from having carpal tunnel.
My doctor has mentioned magnesium and I will give that a try
HI DLP, you can get hot and cold packs that are designed to fit over the hand, leaving your fingers tips free. Wouldn’t be useful while you’re at work ( I think to bulky to type) , but should help when you’re at home. If you have a fridge/microwave at work, could be used at lunch. When I worked I kept one in my desk drawer to heat, and kept a different type of gel pack for my back/shoulders in the freezer.
That is a great idea. I am finding out all sorts of new ideas from this site and researching on my own. I have never been on the internet so much but thank goodness we have it. And even more thank all of you for being here for me.
