Whew, that was a lot of issues to tackle! Does high insulin indicate diabetes...or would it be low insulin? I'm surprised that your doctor never caught these problems. Did they ever do blood work on you? Boy, if so, I'd sure want to know why one found these problems and the other did not!
Good luck with the accupuncture, ladybug. My sister's cat had accupuncture done years and years ago. She'd go into the session looking half dead, with zero energy, and come out with boundless energy, like she was a kitten again. So I'm a believer in it. Just haven't had the cashola to try it yet. But good for you for giving it a go. Please let us know how you make out.
Wow, Sandi and WOO HOO for finally being able to sleep! If you don't start feeling somewhat better just from this alone, I'll be completely shocked, being as the body works on healing itself during sleep. No sleep means no repair work going on. So you can imagine how beat up and busted that must feel!
That is so weird about feeling MORE pain now that you're on Lyrica. Did you call her and discuss this with her? If not, then you might want to give it a go. I know we're all made differently but I felt some relief rather quickly from it.

Hi Ladybuy3. Just wanted to jump in here for a minute. Acupuncture and massage are the best treatments I can have. I take meds and they work, but never completely. Definitely give acupuncture a try. Oh, so worth it.
