If You Could Choose 2 New Things For Your Support Group What Would They Be?

Hello Everyone
As you know Ben's Friends is growing, changing, improving and asking for feedback from our dedicated member's. We have just recently shared the results of the survey that was done on how Ben Friends impacts your life, we were extremely proud of the results, and thank you to all the members who participated in the survey.
However, it did get us to wondering what we could do to make the communities even stronger. So, if you could share 2 things that you would like to see on your support group, we'd be grateful and we'll try to make them happen! You can share your ideas with us in the Comments. :)
Please feel free to give us a little detail with your suggestions. Some ideas could work for some communities and not others, that's fine. We have a wonderful group of people who all are striving for the same goal and I am sure the suggestions you will provide us with will be as exciting as all the new changes that are happening in our future.
Thanks again for taking the time to make us even stronger!

I think the discussions are terrific and the group on the whole is also terrific. The only suggestions I’d have would be more organization of things common to all members… For example, a Latest Research tab where members can post articles, site links, etc. and a Symptom Management Techniques tab and Med\Supplements tab where members can post what’s working for them in these areas.

I wouldnt want to take anything away from the Discussions threads, I just think these common things can be distinguished and highlighted on their own in some way like in an online bulletin board format or something…

Could it be possible that the Ben's Friends websites were made into Secure Websites???

Ummmmm... in the upper website box it has www.livingwithfibro.org. On some of my other websites it has a https then the www, website, which tells me that the website is Secure.

Hi, Luna, Ben's Friends networks are visible in a google search so that new members can find them. The downside is that content from discussions and blogs may appear in a google search as well. Members can protect their privacy by choosing usernames that are not their real names, as you and I have done, or by forming closed groups for sensitive topics, like Fibro and Intimacy. Also, if you click "Settings" on your profile page and then click "privacy," you can set it so that your Profile page and Blogs and photos are visible only to members, or only to friends and moderators. I hope this helps.
