Sorry to hear of the melt down. The wife and I got a lot done, one small fight about movie tickets but that only lasted a few minutes. I almost had a melt down getting my 16 and 17 year old away from their computers and out to help us in the yard, but my warning that I was about to switch into EVIL DAD and that the LOUD EVIL DAD voice was close to being heard motivated them. Once EVIL DAD is let loose there is no telling what could happen. Anything from pulling the plug to the internet, to tossing their computers out into the back yard through the unopened window followed by much swinging of my long handle 10 pound sledge hammer. I no longer keep weapons around the house because it would be far to easy for me to load the 45 and run 10 chunks of lead into their computers. ( I loved that video on YouTube where the father shot up his daughters computer ) Being capable of such un-advisable action when I am out of control forces yourself to take stock of your surroundings and remove anything which could be weaponized. :)
Watched Star Trek Into Darkness for the second time last night. You might like my childrens real names. Daughter is B'Elanna from Star Trek and my Son is Annakin from Star Wars. Both were the wife's choices with my thumbs up.
