Myofascial Pain Syndrome?

Ditto here but thank you for suggesting it, SK. I'm hoping someone gets some good from it. Looks like SO MANY people need a second opinion.

Sjogren's is a whole lot worse than dry eyes and mouth, it hits every cell of your body, matter of fact, what I thought was RSD (per DC) is probably the Sjogrens, my wrists feel like they have been beaten with a hammer. It can cause all kinds of glandular and organ damage, nerve damage. It's serious.

Then there is Raynaud's, constricting of blood vessels in hands, wrists, feet, organs... all of these autoimmune diseases are wicked.

I'll tell you pet first thing was the dry mouth, dry eyes, Sjogrens showed up on the continued blood work ran by my GP first as false positive, which meant it was going to show up, and it finally did. That finally opened everything up.

The Sjogren's has progressed to being difficult swallowing cake, toast, bread...you know where it is going right.

I'll tell you Pet, I really felt the benefit of the Enbrel today, felt how badly I needed it yesterday, friday early evening is Enbrel shot time, woke up feeling good, and NO LIMP!!!!

BTW, Pet, you really do need to stay on the PsA" site, for the knowledge, so many very smart people there!

Yes, I have it. I LOVE my book that's considered by most owners as "their fibro bible". It's called "Fibromyalgia and Myofascial pain syndrome". By a Dr. with fibro, Dr. Devin Starlanyl. It explains the difference between the 2, and every possible symptom, with diagrams of why they happen, and a chapter about how to deal with every part of your life with this illness. MPS (myofascial pain syndrome) is much more severe pain than regular fibromyalgia. People are more often disabled by MPS than FM. It's not too late to change a typo. Go up top to "edit discussion" and you can change whatever you want.

Earlier I mentioned that you can go to the top of the discussion to "edit discussion" to fix typos. I just posted a discussion and realized that I need to be more specific. At the top of your own discussions, you'll see "options". Click on that and you'll see "edit discussion". Click that, and it will allow you to fix whatever you want, update your discussion, add things, change facts, anything. Another typo, Myofascial hasd an S in it, because ot has nothing to do with the face (facial) but with connective tissue, (fascia).

Soft hugs, Sheila

Thanks Sheila! Now I know how to fix those, now I just need to get my mind and fingers working together! Big job! So nice of you to join the discussions, and thanks for pointing those out, makes us look a bit more 'edumacated'!! LOL that is a joke, not a typo!!!

lol

Petunia, you mentioned pesticides - one of the many “second opinions” I had believes my heavy exposure to pesticides for decades led to my fibro. Thought I would mention it
