I'll take a look, thanks. I think that's where my tax refund is going this year.
Hello Meg!
Welcome to the group! I'm very pleased to know that you are being seen by a Rheumatologist! Good move on your part!
So tell me, are you affected by all of the rain you have? I lived in South Seattle for about a year, and oh my, all it did was rain, rain is very hard on me, but I am arthritic! It is a lovely green area though, it really is the Emerald City!
What kind of pain are you having, nerve, muscle, joint, bone? I take Lyrica for nerve pain, Oxiprozin as an anti-inflammatory, Enbrel for Psoriatic Arthritis, which has coused joint damage and spinal stenosis. I take Morphine for pain.
Most of us have told our stories on our profile, you can click on anyone's photo to go to their page and read their profile. I encourage everyone to fill in their profile, if they ask us a question, it is the first thing we look at before answering, so the more you tell us, the more we can help you!
So glad you joined the group! So glad you are seeing a Rheumatologist!
Wishing you well,
SK
I'm okay with the rain, but it's getting cold right now and that can be hard. You'd know my area, I'm up in Lynnwood. I work downtown, though. At least I can try to nap on the bus commute!
Pain... Probably a better question would be what don't I have, LOL. Mostly joint and muscle at the moment. I feel like a cross between having run a marathon and being kicked around by a soccer team.
Unfortunately, my company decided to switch health insurance companies this year, so I have to start the process of finding a good doc all over. I did see that someone is on the plan who was recommended in a local magazine last year as a fibro doc. So we'll see if I like him.
