Thank you all for the welcomes. And I want you to know that last night and today was the worst of the fibro I have ever had. I finally cried for my husband to help me. After 28 years of this illness, I had never had anything like this. The pain was so bad that it hurt from my chest and back all the way to my feet. I burnt so bad that I thought I was on fire. The pain was so bad I thought my foot was broken. When hey got me to the ER they gave me some meds. But he put me on a pain patch and said for me to get me Primary Dr. to do the same. My daughter is so upset she wants to take me somewhere else to find out the whole problem. I am on oxygen for the pain in my chest. I don't know what to do. My husband is scared to death. And I lean on God every day just to get me through. I have had no sleep for over a week.
Hi hon, I am so sorry it is that bad. That is a good call, going to the ER when you are having severe pain like that. Did you let the ER know you haven't slept? Sleep as you know is so important and I know the more sleep-deprived I get (chronic insomnia issues) the worse I feel and the longer it takes to come out of it again. Do you have any follow up appointments scheduled? Has the pain patch helped at all? Please know I am praying for you. Keep us updated. Gentle hugs!
Hi Liz I am so sorry you have had such a rough time. I live in Australia and visiting the ER here was a blessing. I was put on a warm water gentle therapy and it really helped. Unfortunately we havevto go through some pretty rough times until the next lot of relief comes. It always gets better for me and it’s always just around the corner. Bless you Liz and good luck with relief. Soft hugs from Mary Michelon
