Unproductive doctor visit :( Still no diagnosis :(

Hey Guys ,Thanks everyone for all the amazing help . Ive got lots written down the next doctor i see isn't going to know what hit them lol ! I cant remember properly but i think the endoscopy was done by a digestive specialist due to a referral from the gp for my on going abdo pain. I also got tested for anaemia and i was told my blood count and size etc were all normal. Also the same gp that wanted to do my b12 then changed her mind within an hour told me while I was in there that I wasn't anaemic so I am really confused :S (more than usual) lol but I will defo take any test they want to do , Its another thing checked of their list .

I'm not going to leave until Ive got a referral to a specialist that can dx fibro altho I really don't understand why they can't do the tender points then and there without having to wait even longer but Ill hang in there what ever it takes.

Sorry if ive forgotton to answer anyones questions . Gentle hugs! And thanks again for everyones input I really do appreciate it :) x

It gets complicated, doesn't it? The homocysteine level is indicative of anemia. I know my doctor kept checking that. He also told me that the regular folic acid is not absorbed properly. Following a gluten free diet may be a good idea for anyone with malabsorption problems. After all, celiac destroys the intestinal villi and then absorption is not gonna happen. Usually, by the time they diagnose celiac, it's too late, already destroyed. I like your statement "brilliant doctor, stupid person" that really says it all. Hope you get to the bottom of it.
