After months – actually years of being told by doctor after doctor including 3 neurologists, I requested referral to a major research center. I saw Dr. Marc Friedman in the Neuromuscular Clinic at Cleveland Clinic. After carefully reviewing my record and comprehensive testing, in less than half a day, he made the diagnosis of FM. He wrote out detailed treatment recommendations and sent other resources to my PCP along with remaining a resource. It was an investment to my health and sanity to make the expensive journey to Cleveland but everyone listened carefully to me and worked to discover the diagnosis.

Hi Norma Teresa I am glad that you were able to finally get an answer. It is very difficult to “fight the good fight” when you don’t know exactly who your opponent is. Sending lots of love and light your way that the treatment recommendations made bring you some relief. Take care!
