Hi Kitty, in the book your doctor refers to a site called Fridacenter.com for updates. I checked the site but they had to close at the end of March of this year. I’m wondering if she has referred you to any other sites that might be useful? Could you please let us know.

Yes, the Fridacenter closed because Dr Liptan was the primary doctor and it was private practice with other types of meetings and body work, etc. She had to leave the Fridacenter and join one of the big medical groups in order for it to work for her financially.
There is a fibro counselor in Portland that I have spoken to. I'm not sure that she can really be of any help to people outside of Portland area. Let me know if you want her info, I will message it to you.
I will be having my first mfr treatment tomorrow. Not by one of her recommended therapists, but one close by. Remind me to let you know how it goes.
I won't be getting email notices anymore when I get a response or a message from lwf, but will be hopping on a few times a week to check in.
