Does anyone know of any doctors in Pennsylvania who specialize in treating fibro?

I live in Pennsylvania and am looking for a new Fibromyalgia doctor. The doctor I was seeing I feel is no longer helping me at all and at this point all they are doing is taking my money. Does anyone know of any doctors that specialize in working and treating people with Fibromyalgia in Pennsylvania. I am becoming so desperate and I have tried everything that I have ever been suggested to do to make my fibromyalgia more manageable so I can get it at least somewhat under control. I wish I could make it manageable enough to the point where I would only have flare-ups because right now the pain is constant, 24/7 among other things.

On top of the fibro and all my other health issues I had to have a total colectomy surgery where they operated and removed my entire large intestine. Its been very stressful and I still have another 5 weeks of recovery, most likely longer. I am so exhausted and worn out and it would be nice for just once for something to go my way. I am 24 years old and I feel like I am 80. I really don't think its too much to ask to find a doctor that could have the potential to help me make my fibro more manageable.

Hi kjf,

I'm so sorry to hear about your surgery, you've been through so much lately! I'm sure it's contributing to your FMS symptoms, and the FMS is making your recovery harder. Hopefully you'll be able to get some help and start getting everything under control.

Here is a list of Board-certified Rheumatologists in Pennsylvania. I'm not sure of which towns are nearest to you, so this is the link to the whole state:

i see dr pucivich he's in beaver county

i am the same age as u well a yr off i know exactly how ya feel

I also suffer from stomach issues yet no dr yet has come up with why my pcp i seen friday has decided i suffered long enough and reffering me to a surgeon to find reason and solution

Well having a total colectomy is very extreme. I was in the hospital for 12 days after the surgery and have also been back to the ER 3 times. They said that since I no longer have my large intestine, which normally reabsorbs water I have to drink 12 glasses of water/juice/Gatorade a day. Each time I have gone into the ER since this surgery I have been really dehydrated.
