Has anyone ever heard of the Fisher Wallace Stimulator?

Is that the stimulator that you get implanted in you so that it causes you to not feel the pain as much, as it kind of sets up a distraction through the vibrations? Or something like that? I had talked to my doctor about it but she strongly discouraged me from getting it. I no longer remember the reasons but I found them to be sound at the time. Maybe you could set up some time to talk to your doctor about it. It surely sounded like a good pain treatment to me at one point!
PS: No, I am completely wrong, this is a stimulator to treat depression and insomnia! How cool is that? You have given me something to ask my doctor about. Thank you! I hope that you get some answers about this from others on here. It does seem to be pretty expensive though. I saw one listed for $699. (Ha ha, $6.99 sounds like a lot to me now as I am as broke as a joke!)
