I am frightened by my exam today, worst subject, could barely study it because t truly does not interest me.. Frustrated by my exam tomorrow... at 8:30 in the morning... on my birthday! And due to the stress of exam week which is not as heavy as in previous years. And the birthday/christmas celebrations are frequent currently and doing my hair and makeup get to be a pain in the bottom, and everywhere else. I want to pace myself and I try my hardest but there are tons of things I can't miss this week.
You'll past that test, I know it, this is very important to you, perhaps not this class or subject, but the end result, and that is what you need to stay focused on, my friend! I think you will do well!
Getting ready for Christmas/birthday celebrations here, doing DEEP cleaning, detailed decorating, preparing to cook a feast. Am determined to have my hair colored and curled, Mom's too, wear a nice outfit, have make up and jewelry on too! Hoping to show them a wonderful time, then FALL ON MYFACE, and sleep for a week, at least!!
Thanks so much SK! My bday is tomorrow, today is just the scary exam. I have studied as much as I can and I think at this point I am starting to confuse myself with studying so I am taking a break.
I wish you all the best with the cleaning, decorating and your cooking preparations! You'll love when you have yourself all done up, having others over and the feeling of success. Also when you are all done these holidays your going to get an amazing reward of rest.
All of us must remember to pace ourselves and not try to take on too much on one day.
Exams are scary even for non-fibro people. Your jitters might not portend anything more than just nervousness. In other words, I think that you probably will do fine with the tests. You're studying as much as you can. That's all that you can do. It is hard to study something that you truly dislike. You've done your best with it.
It's major stink-dom (well, I can't say the real word I'm thinking, can I?) to have an exam on your birthday. :-( No way around that, it is. But at least you'll get it over with in the morning so you can go on and have a better rest of the day.
I hate having to get ready for a fancy affair. It does hurt to get dressed and done up. But hopefully the joy of the affair will put the pain aside a bit. That's the upside of going to these events.
Yup, pacing yourself is very important for us but heck, when it's exam week and you also have celebrations to attend, how easy is it to pace yourself? Not!
I hope next week is better for you. Hopefully NO MORE EXAMS!!!
Wishing you the best on your exams. And have a good time at the festivities.
