Head sweats, heat intolerance- solutions

I have fibro and chronic fatigue syndrome. Lyrica causes head sweats and any exertion causes my hairline to start to drip. I am also very heat intolerant- a problem because we life in a desert like environment where the summer can get over 109 degrees.

My sister has MS and found a great solution for me. It is a product that has microbeads in a bandana you wear as a necktie. The beads hold water and act as a cooling agent for days. Is anyone interested?

Do you have any solutions that work for you that you can share?

I'd be interested. Where can get one. My head sweats like crazy. It's very annoying. I tried one of those towels you wet and wear on your neck and it didn't work. I just got wetter LOL Thanks.

I think a lot depends on the area you live in. Living in an arid climate using an evaporation cooling scarf or head band would work a lot better than if you live in a humid area.

Hi, here’s a link to the cooling scarves.
One of our mods had shared it and I thought to pass it on for all-

Be sure to stay hydrated also.

That link is for the same product I use- Blubandoo. Go directly to their website www.blubandoo.com

I get that sweat thing too. I haven't mentioned it. Always thinking oh well, another stinking symptom. My heart rate goes up too and then I can't do much. For me it is a bit like a hot flash. This "fibro flash" is worse. I sweat from the roots and it is very tough to get rid of it. I love the necktie idea. I HATE this heat. We in the Pacific NW are in a severe drought and heat in the 90's is nuts. Thank you for the idea. I wish I had another idea for you as well. Perhaps another time.
