omg, yes. losing my car... i have begun taking a picture of where my car is (with a landmark visible in the background) with my cell phone. nothing more terrifying than losing a car. lol! (but the cell phone technique only works WHEN I REMEMBER to use it. ha, ha, ha. . .)
i have the same thing with wine, any alcohol and sugar. it makes my muscle pain raise to an excruciating level. . .
Oh, you bet! Sardonic as it is, it is alive and well! My grandkids keep me laughing too, keep me from being grouchy and alone! My Rheum and I had a good laugh the other day when I told him I get so disgusted that I go outside and scream, and that I scare the farm animals for miles, he said "Oh, Susan, they're used to you by now"! LOL!! Oh, that just made me love him more! A brilliant Dr, professor, who is well mannered, interested, concerned with a sense of humor! I really hit the jackpot after going through so many Jack Asses! ha!
I know, I limp if my leg is bad, drag it sometimes, but I still get there, and really try to keep my sense of humor.
Was at the grocery store with my Mom today and had a really nice young man checking us out with 2 heaping carts of stuff (Mother Hubbard cupboards were bare) so my Mom likes word find books, I handed them to the kid and asked if he would take good care of those for my Mom, that they kept her off the streets, and he comes up with "how about out of the alleys and away from the gangs"! I should have given him my youngest granddaughter's phone number, he was just so nice to a couple of old gals! And the laughs with him were so unexpected and nice!
I totally have a sense of humor. My friends have been calling me Granny Lyra for the last 4 years. They always make sure I have what I need and when we do things they are considerate about my issues.
The downside is that I get less invites because of my fatigue.
