Dr.sight rx foe 50mg lyrica not sure how to start due to amitriply 25 mg at night
.Is any one have exprience with Lyrica before ?
i also take prestiq 50 in the morning
any suggestion will be welcome

Not sure how to help you here, you must consult your Doc! My experience, having just come off amitriptylene, reduce very slowly, over a period of weeks. As for the lyrica, as I said, consult your Doc! Hope someone else might be more helpful. Good luck

I agree that it is best to consult with the doc who is prescribing these drugs for you. Everyone has different experiences with the varied combinations of drugs and there is really no 'one size fits all.' If you have a doctor you trust it is good to work closely with him or her and pose your questions to him/her. I might suggest to write down your concerns and questions for when you speak with your doc so you dont forget at the time.

Hi Pravda,
I recently just weaned off of Lyrica (I was having water retention issues), 500mg/day 200 mg in morning, 100 afternoon, 200 night, and am still taking Amitriptyline 50mg at night. I was on both at the same time for a quite a while. Incase you have any drowsiness issues with Lyrica, you might want to start it at night. I never had a problem taking the Lyrica near bedtime, which is also when I take my Amitriptyline (for insomnia/migraines/fibro pain), but I agree with AnneV, and suzie; when in doubt ask your doc.
