I've got the winter blues, I want a warm beach to go bake on, a warm pool to swim in, with the sun shining! I wanna walk the board walk and find the best Pizza and Pancakes, read a good book!
Really, I want to be able to go to the beach again, it's at least 4 hours away, I can barely stand a 30 minute ride! I may just try it, may take me days and days to get there but Ocean City MD could be the place this summer!

It’s okay whining is allowed, especially from you LOL you are always so positive. Could you fly to Ocean City and stay there for a few days or are there any spas close by with enclosed heated pools or hot tubs where you could imagine being away. I really admire your attitude SK, you are a very positive influence on this site.
I’m looking forward to spring, leaves on trees (green, green, green) sunshine (anything but this rain other than snow of course) , crocuses, tulips, daffodils, and cherry trees in blossom, no more rain and dismal days! (Sorry had to repeat it, it is so d… depressing)(although not even 10% of all problems that the US east coast has had) ,gardening (not a great gardener, do pots easier to do), short walks on the dykes, watching the eagles,buying fresh local produce especially berries .JUST THINK WE’RE GETTING CLOSER EVERYDAY TO SPRING.
What wonderful things to think about, good way to end the day, may actually get some sleep tonight, hope you’re already sleeping as you’re at least three hours ahead of us.

Oh I know, our yard is full of flowering trees, shrubs, my grandkids plant flowers and we have some raised beds for organic veggies. I am looking forward to all of this, however it's the ocean that is calling me!

Hi SK, could you post more discussions like this. The weather forecast was for rain for this weekend and the next week and a half. I woke up this morning to SUNSHINE! Did you twitch your nose or what? Hope some of your wishes come true too.

Oh my goodness you got me thinking… Or should I say dreaming… I looked on the members map and I could pick up Renie in 5 hrs, lol, only problem, I can’t drive more than an hr. maybe we can go visit Robin in Fl ??? But that would have to be a plane ride … Ah for heaven sake, I just need sunshine , our 5 day forecast does not have one day of sun !!! This is when I’m ready to sell my house, buy an RV and just start driving south, see, then I could stop every hr, rest a day … Yup I’d get there by July …LMAO
