I was diagnosed with "Raynaud's Disease"

@JayCS thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Yes, the raynaud’s has definitely got worse over the years. As I have had fibro for 11 years now I cannot remember exactly when it started to get worse. I do not know about mattress cover just for your feet. Have you tried looking at Amazon to see if they do anything. Regarding sups as I have had a bad reaction to just taking vitamin C I am rather reluctant to try anything else. On one occasion I had paramedics come because I had a bad reaction to taking a laxative! When I was a child I drove my mother nuts as I could not tolerate medication or different clothing.

Mutual! - glad to hear from you! And: Interesting! - So similar!
As a kid my problems didn’t seem too visible to others, it all broke out (GI, skin, back, nerves) after having left home (at 18, as soon as I could).
The GI problems were reactions to all kinds of food, but I cdnt just stop eating, could I… I did realize I needed to not take meds, but supps seemed OK. Slowly I pieced together what I need to avoid. The first doc that at least listened was an allergologist 25y ago who explained it as a sort of neurodermatitis inside, since I had a high allergy titre, but not against anything single, and that the elimination diet I was developing. Now I’ve finished it and know exactly what causes what, and now getting all symptoms down that I can after getting fibro on top of it all, I have learnt to distinguish stomach hyperacidity and gut oversensitivty (IBSD).
Now I’ve learnt there are quite some herbs & supps I don’t tolerate. When everything was a mess it was hard to see what’s what. Especially the anti-inflammatory ‘warming spices’ (ginger, turmeric, capsaicin etc.) spawn my stomach ache.
Regarding vitamin C: Same here, it’s very acidic, so it increases my stomach acidity & causes a lot of pain, types which prevents sleep etc. But trying it again last year I used a “buffered” form (sodium ascorbate). This was quite OK when taken with meals. This is just as bioavalable/effective, but mild. I stopped it all the same, as I cdnt see a benefit.
Same problem after discovering amino acids were working, but too tough on my stomach, something only few people seem to have. Taking it in capsules was OK, altho they are only HPMC, not enteric coated, so I started making my own capsules. Maybe they spread the acidity over stomach and gut or over time, I’m not sure.
Similarly I researched magnesium which causes diarrhea and found that magnesium malate and magnesium glycinate are two forms that do not act as a laxative, but also seem very good for FM - I’m not sure how much benefit, they don’t belong to my definitely extremely effective supps (5 at the moment), but there’s just so much evidence that they help with muscles and pain, that I keep them up.
I used to be very reluctant to take supps, thought them a waste of money. With fibro I realized my hopes for help were increasingly becoming dashed and my life was going down the drain. Now they are reclaiming the quality of my life, altho getting into them has been strenuous work - now I’m a bit of an expert, and I know where to look if I get unsure or forget something.
So I think there may be hope, if you do want to try to tackle something! Meds not being an option is a good place to start, cos the side effects are more long term than with supps. But I definitely wdnt suggest you to try even the buffered form of vitamin C, I think there’s a lot of more important things.

@JayCS I got my mattress cover from Dreamland, they might have something to help you with your feet.
