Introducing ME!

Hey guys!

I'm new! lol, obviously... I have been living with Fibro for about 8 years now and I am almost 22... (Horror!!) I adore animals especially reptiles and equines. I have a big black cat names Ray who is my pride and joy.

My Fibro was caused by a combination of a traumatic brain injury and coinciding glandular fever. I also happen to be on the waiting list at South African Guide Dog Association for a service dog to help me! YAY!

anyhow... thats a little about me, I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys!

It is nice to know somethings about you. My name is Michelle and I have been diagnosed with fibro for 1 year but have had it for 11 years or so. I raised guide dogs for the blind while I was in high school. I wish you luck on getting a guide dog. I know how helpful they can be. I think you will find that the people on this site are rather inviting and full of helpful information and useful experiences to learn from. Hope to see you around, hugs, Michelle.

Hey Lovett,

I'm glad to meet you! Thanks for your well wishes I will be sure to join that group when I next have the mental strength to be social... lol, its been a looooong day today!

Have a great one.

Hugs

Hey Michelle,

wow, 11 years of torture sounds dreadful... I'm glad you have a diagnosis though, It is always harder to cope while one doesn't know what one is fighting. wow, raising puppies for guide dogs must be so fun, but I can imagine its hard to let them go when they go into training.

see ya around.

Hugs, Monique.
