v3: 16:00 5… lessons in self-care and 6… reasons to be cheerful today!
v2: Plan to move a bit more regularly is off to a bad start this morning. But a long-legged breakfast tray over my electric blanket is a brilliant help for placing my laptop!
v1: 08:05 getting up is a bit strange, tired eyes, maybe due to taking the 1:00 supps at 5:00
Triggers & resulting Symptoms
SLEEP (click for details): 7h49, up 3x (51') +35' = 8h24 ✅, but ➔ Feeling 80% well, Ache 2 of 7 🧐, waking up: ➔ 80%/2 🧐. HWB often helps, incl. with stuffy nose, but sometimes overheats me, like towards the end today.

Sum: 1h20+7h20-(3+45+3=)51’ = 8h40-51’ = 7h49, up 3x (51’) +35’ = 8h24.
ACTIVITIES (aiming for 40% - well 20% - of pre-fibro) ➔ ACHE: ➔ 70%/2 most of the day. However I’m getting used to the Ache, it’s just I can hardly move. I’m happy, but I haven’t got the energy to feel it too much.

Treatments
THERAPIES: Having a look at the few things my acupressurist said on Wednesday, there was nothing helpful amongst them,
Supps to CHANGE: Wash capsule machine…
SELF-PHYSIO (click for details): 2h11 ✅. Trying back exercises 'first thing' again for a change was extremely strenuous, even with breaks. I've even decided to reward myself with "more minutes" for the same amount of exercise, cos it's gotten so tough. My wife suggested doing them gentler, but my back muscles need them this tough, so I just have to do more breaks.

Lessons in self-care #167 I’m putting a breakfast tray to very good use we found on the wayside a few weeks ago. As I now always need an electric blanket over me when sitting leant against my sofa, it’s hard to arrange it around my laptop on my lap so it doesn’t overheat. I just found myself looking at it and thinking: That’d be good. It’s a bit cumbersome as I have to change my leg position every 5 minutes (to stretch my loins and relieve my tailbone). But I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
Lessons in self-care #168 Wondering about the height, I saw it was possible and tried to increase the leg length: Now my laptop is where it should be, about the height of my neck - brilliant! One of the knobs for the length is overwinded, but I’ll fix that
Lessons in self-care #169 As my laptops are getting even more important - almost all-emcompassing - in my life, I’m spending more time on optimizing my ‘workplace’, i.e. learning & using new browser functions, e.g. to rearrange the various areas of ‘work’.
Lessons in self-care #170 Comparing myself to a girl I know in a wheelchair from a CoV-jab I don’t think that’d help me at the moment, as wherever I could bring myself or get brought to I wouldn’t have enough energy etc. to do anything there. So I spose I could say: Not even a wheelchair would help me. Who said fibro won’t put me in a wheelchair…?
Lessons in self-care #171 Hmm, as I often have to use my hands/arms to place my legs somewhere it does have a touch of someone helping someone in a wheelchair, just I’m helping myself. Never seen this that much apart from people who are very severely disabled, which I spose I am, at least for a time.
Lessons in self-care #172 Based on #171, I’ve developed a new way to improve walking: Using my hand to flick my legs forward, if they are strong enough, which they usually are. (Altho Nordic walking sticks don’t generally help me, as my arms also get fatigued quickly then.)
Lessons in self-care #173 Compared to someone ‘bed-ridden’ I’m using my own idiosyncratic ways of doing anything and everything possible instead of just giving up. The suggestion of my acupressurist that my body may need the rest of a bed is not right for me at all.
Reasons to be cheerful #177 When I look at my encapsulating stuff, I remember fondly how cutely my grandchild helped me on Wednesday, opening capsules
Reasons to be cheerful #178 I’m so grateful the web allows not just to read newest stuff, but also being able to interact and thus learn new things faster.
Reasons to be cheerful #179 Got nice new woolen socks from Christmas. Who’d’ve thought I’d ever be so happy about SOCKS FOR CHRISTMAS. “Old age” .
Reasons to be cheerful #180 Comparing my condition now to Vujicic or Hawking, my radius seems extremely reduced and still I have the power of the web at my fingertips, plus I can walk a bit too, praps not as well as Vujicic, I’m not sure. But I’m a little bit of hero too.
Reasons to be cheerful #181 Got a massage pistol for Christmas, wow, I hope that’ll do some good.
Reasons to be cheerful #182 Listening to my own tracks, I’m exhilerated about all I’ve managed to compose and the messages of the songs.
