I need to prioritize my own needs more.

Successes:
:trophy: Walnuts aren’t worth it - tongue inflamed (left) since 16:30 yesterday. 16:30 still… 17:30 slightly better after eating.
:zap: Development: Need to focus research on my own needs more.
:zap: Back problems since tooth (head/pillows higher).
:zap: Better backwards stretches, not backpod atm, cos of lower back.
:zap: Press sideways to wall/other mattress for fasciitis/calves.
:zap: Going to the grocer’s with my wife made things worse.
:zap: Symptoms worsening from this morning on is the NAC, pretty sure.
:zap: 16:30 histamine-y reaction after supps before eating! From what??

Learnt:
:student:
:ambulance: Still more back exercises.
:ambulance: Careful with all “straight” sitting.
:ambulance: Bed “before” 10. Stop forums there.
:ambulance: :soon: Test pak choy for burning once tooth is thru.

Thinking about trying a zoom initial consultation with Bruce Hoffman, someone also suggested that to me, but my wife confirmed my doubts thinking that docs diagnosing around hasn’t got me anywhere and won’t do so. So I guess that also makes an Immunologist senseless.

Supps Sep 5th (32 supps): Supp costs:~364€/m (Sep 8th) CHANGED: Added a little NAC & 2 Quercetin on Sep 11th. Added B2 again from 10th on. Copper doesn't seem necessary if my cardio interpreted my bloods right. From 8th on I'm adding the olive leaf extract low (100mg) and slow (but +100mg daily, not weekly), also fisetin I think it was then. Boosting some things from 7th on for tooth. Trying 1x150mg alpha GPC for fatigue from Sep 5th (recommendation on a forum), can add a few when I'm safe. Pure ATP 400mg in liquid was bad, so at most I may encapsulate & start with less, 100mg. Can't explain pee pain on Sep 4th/5th unless additional stress from a gig. Taking 1x B3 flush free since 25th, 2x from 31st (then checking homocystein). New idea: Creatine. Development

Not being able to move much gives me more time to invest in new ideas. But I think I need to prioritize my own … need more. Of course I’ve often realized that things I work on for others suddenly do become relevant to me after all. But for instance I’ve just done a bit of research on fibro meds and they’re definitely not on for myself, whatever Teitelbaum says.

Maybe cos I’m a burnt child and have learnt to rely on myself more and more, but the feeling I now have is to work thru everything he’s written as well as mastattack and healthrising etc. in the next few months and then perhaps contact him.

‘Research’ today:
While looking for more Teitelbaum stuff I was again surprised how much meds he actually recommends, compared with other docs, even non-functional ones… :

An excellent new page (Aug 17th) by Cort on healthrising Four Experts On How To Get a Good Night's Sleep: An ME/CFS & Fibromyalgia Inquiry - Health Rising details the 73 aids 4 experts recommend for sleep, agreeing on only 1!
The big differences:
Murphree recommends: only supps, mainly 5-HTP,
Teitelbaum: supps, but also lots of meds! , esp. zolpidem/Ambien, in small doses.
Attia: magnesium and a sleep system,
Huberman: light, temperature, supps and apps.

Cort thoroughly recommends both “newcomers” Attia and Huberman.
Attia uses magnesium and the “Chillisleep OOLER Cooling Sleep System” to closely regulate body temperature.
Enlightening for me was that my body seems to prefer everything that Huberman (neuroscientist) recommends, and there’s 3 on his supps list I haven’t tried yet: Apigenen, Lysine and Myo-inositol. For GABA he recommends “2 grams every 3 or 4 days;” (2 others recommend it in combination products). An intriguing one of his is “drawing tablet”.

There is so much interesting information out there! I think I need to work thru all of healthrising!

But a nice colourful overview of Teitelbaum’s main supps: https://www.bioenergylifescience.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/5_My-Essentials-by-J-Teitelbaum_Remedies-for-Life-Feb-2012_0.pdf

That shows he doesn’t use the sugar sort of chocolate himself, altho studies show that even milk chocolate is good for stroke in men:

Does the iPad Night Shift mode reduce melatonin suppression?: No, at least if the brightness setting are left the same (I greatly reduce mine to the lowest possible in the evenings)
Lessons in self-care #422 Less ‘research’ for others, more for myself.
