I just wanted to put it out there that I want to thank everyone on this site. It has helped me tremendously in the short amount of time I have spent on here. I have found out so much about this, that I would not have known from any doctor I have dealt with. In fact, I have learned so much , I was able to inform my doctor of new studies he was unaware of. He told me fibromyalgia was something he had studied and wrote a paper on as a resident and that the information I had for him he had never heard of. So there I had it to present to him in black and white from several links , mostly from this site. Now my case has been heard and I can move forward thanks to all of you. I also enjoy chatting from time to time with all of my friends on here and look forward to meeting more of you. I hope I have been a help to some as well. I want to put in the same as what I am getting out of here. So here's to good friends, good chats, and good advice. Thank you all.
I also have informed my Primary of items I have found on here, I suggested for him to join this place & get more info for himself & other patients like me but, I also realize the fella has only so much he can do in a day.
Wow, that's really amazing, Aimee, that you were able to teach your doctor about fibro when he had studied it and written a paper on it! I am so glad to hear that you brought the info to him and he was open to learning from it. You've done a huge favor to future fibro patients of his!
