It's so weird how fibro and lupus are so alike...the list you've added above it'S what i get daily but regarding itching that's usually off a flare with my DLE. :)
Yeah, it is weird how alike they are...which makes you wonder if they are more alike than we think and are cousin illnesses created by the same or similar causes in the same area of the body. I am ignorant of the cause of lupus so I don't know if there is a strong fibro link/component.

I hear ya, ladies! Today I managed to leave my trunk wide open as I went off to deliver some meals, then misplaced a meal for a while, then I forgot to pick up a leftover to put in the fridge...oh thank you fibro/Lyrica fog for taking my brain away!

You've got my mind going on that one now being cousin related or similar genes, now this is something i'll be looking up.
If you was on the Lupus site it would be like coming onto the fibro site symptoms identical but there's just a few more issues with it and bloods need to be done on confirming it, it messes about with the bloods that much we have members who have been going for ages with having bloods after bloods.
When Susan joined she could'nt believe the identity of them both besides Lyme disease.

Don't mention depressing mate as i have depression on top and having A1 Diseases overlapping autoimmune Diseases the lot can get you down at times.
I mean how your on about your skin itching...mine itches with flares off the lupus and i'm peviously getting over the flu and that triggered a lumpy flare on my skin which caused itching then the raynauds cause it, christ we're in a no win situation.
The two main A1 autoimmune diseases the same as fibro being an A1 Disease is Lupus and Lyme.

o wow there is so much more to this than i though kinda scary yes i suffer bad with hip and back pain and nothing you do wiill make it go away is it pulled muscles with the back pain as that whats iv been tolded
and also does any one suffer with chest pain like a shooting pain or like you chest feels tight ? and is that realted to fibro ?
Nicole, Chest pain is always something you want to get checked out, I have to say for me as the fibro got worse so did my chest pain, after seing a cardiologist, and having an upper GI to rule out reflux ( which can cause CP) they tod me it was anxiety, I was like I don’t feel anxious ?? As time went on my CP continued, then I did start feeling anxious…
Long story short, had an angiogram and I do have cardiac blockage, crazy thing dr. Said it shouldn’t be causing my CP, I actually only had the pain twice, since learning I’m not going to drop, lol not knowing what was causing the pain, I think made it worse, so then we have to ask does fibro cause chest pain… I think the anxiety related to fibro can, it did for me, even when I didn’t feel anxious .
But you have to get it checked out… I had to keep going back until they decided better check this out…

thanks i will do being on this site has given me new hope that docs will lisen to me now i have mroe info as in the past they havnt cared just given me pain killer after pain killer and thats it no xrays ct scans or anything :/ but i will be going back with a new attutiduce now so thank you all :) also eveything is starting to make sence now iv got anothing problems and i can see there all linked in so way as i have psos
I agree 100% with Dee. Do not ignore chest pain. Please see your doctor ASAP. Some things aren't worth ignoring and that is one of them.
I know that doctors like to treat us with painkillers but it really would be nice to know what the root is of our problem and treat it. I think you have enough question marks in your health that need answering. Keep trying with doctors. You just need the right one to get to the bottom of things. If it's fibro, so be it. If it's more, it's good to find out.
yeh i will do going to start sorting it out 2moz as the pain is doing my head in dose any one get tummy pain like a pulled muslce kinda pain ?
as that keep flaring up and only started recetnly :/
i have such bad spasms in my legs that i can shake an entire king size bed. in fact on day at my friends house i feel asleep and was kicking the wall such bad spasms the neighbor called the police. my friend brought the cop into the room and had to show him.
mu friend had no idea i was doing this cause she was watchig tv in the other room. i just to take clonipion it worked great but i couldnt afford it any more. its not expensize its was about $10 a month. i dont have insurance so that is full price at walmart.
i hope you can find relief. valium can also help. there is probably others out there but i dont know about any.

Sorry to hear how bad you have your spasms and no one will know the extent of how they affect us until they have them but sometimes when you have a spasm how yours are so strong...they can be involved with a stronger tremor also.

this might sound silly but with a spasms some times i go though what looks like an epelictic fit to any one round me but iv have been tested and it not that but it like a spasms in my arms and legs at the same time and my chest goes tight sometimes has any one had any thing like that ?
nicole they're what i said bad tremor's in with the spasms and when they appear strong they can take the look of a seizure and your chest going tight is an anxiety attack, they're causing your blood to rush (Panick attack in general)

hi terry that is true many of my friends dont wont to no me any more as i cant keep up with them any more and cant do the things they want to do x
nicole...just look at things as there loss because although you've not got their pace, they're losing true loyalty of a friend and alot of people how their today who go ignorant on issues... just totaly don't understand this fact.
