Has anyone ever had a flare and never felt like they have come out of it as I’ve been like this since September and not getting better at all xxx
What does the doctor have to say about this, chell? Have you been evaluated recently?
I also think it is time to see the doctor. I saw on your profile you have thyroid problems to. It may be time to redo some blood test and reevaluate your treatment plan.
I’ve got doc tomorrow so c what he says xxx
Chill, keep us up to date as far as what the doc says tomorrow. Feel better soon! HUGS from Deb
I wrote a post before, but deleted it. I forgot I am on the Fibro website rather than the Lupus website. Lupus does have remissions. Fibro, not so much. Especially if you have other conditions with the same symptoms, such as yours. I have multiple illnesses as well. Many of us do find things that make us improve, but it's usually not the prescriptions. Those seem to add more side effects. I also have hypothyroid and its very tough to get that balanced. It can also mess with your whole endocrine system. After so many years with this, you know this I'm sure, even someone telling me to feel better soon makes me roll my eyes. This is a CHRONIC disease. It doesn't ease up like the flu or recovering from a surgery. So many people have used different supplements and it takers trial and error to find the right ones that help your body in particular. Go to the search box in the upper right corner and type "natural remedies" and you'll see many posts about what people use to improve their fibro. Best wishes, i hope you find some remedies soon. Don't give up.
I’m on a alternative remedy dosent do much xxx
Chell, be sure you keep us updated on your doctor appt. I also wanted to stress that with Fibro just because something works for one person, it doesn’t mean it will work for another and vice versa. Some prescription meds can be of help and are worth discussing with your doctor. Also be careful if you are considering any supplements. Make sure you speak with your doctor first. Some supplements can cause interactions with meds and may be potentially dangerous without proper medical guidance and supervision.
When it comes to managing Fibro, it really is a matter of finding right combination of things all working together toward your whole wellbeing. If you haven’t yet, please do check out our Fibro 101 guide. Auburnm’s post on Treating FMS is exceptional and very helpful. Be persistent and try to keep a positive outlook for the future. Our thoughts especially when we’re frustrated have a way of perpetuating negative outcomes. They can turn into a dark cycle quickly and I’d hate for you to get stuck.
Feel better soon!
Hugs,
Laurie
