No good very bad day!

Today was a horrible day I think I’ll move to Australia lol!! Had to go to DMV to renew my license which apparently my brain fog got the best of me yet again cause my license expired on November 30th. Well played fibro fog. Fibro fog -1 Nicole - 0. While at DMV I got the pleasure of standing on line for over an hour (can you sense the sarcasm in that last sentence). Needless to say by the time I left every part of me was on fire, cramping and just down right painful. It was so bad I wanted to throw up and then a wondeful migraine struck out of nowhere no warning at all! Ofcourse it wasn’t just any old migraine though silly me why would it be it was one of my more intense ones where my face goes numb all the way down my arm to the point you would think I was having a stroke. Does anyone else get these horribly scary types of migraines? Was finialy able to pop a 600mg Motrin and layed down for 30 mins and it let up just enough so I could cook dinner for my daughters. Hope everyone had a more pleasent day then I had gentile hugs to all!

Dear Nicole

I am so sorry for how fibro mistreated you today. It does that to us far too many times, doesn't it? I am finding that the fibro fog is getting worse. all the time.

Speaking of renewing your license plate I found out that if yours is due in November, the day you renew your plate your plate or tag on your car is invalidated. Did you know that? Nobody that I have talked to knew it either. So, you need to put your new sticker or plate on as soon as possible after you renew it.

Anything that I need to do when I go uptown I have to prop up by my purse so I don't forget it. Then when I go uptown I have a special bag that I put all these things in so that my brain connects this special bag with "to do" things.

Making lists is another must. I have to write things down immediately so that I don't forget them.

Thanks to fibro many of us have experienced days like yours.

Hi Nicole , that stinks that you had to deal with the DMV thanks to fibro fog … It does seem to have a way of causing just that kind of havoc, & then we have to pay the price with more pain !!
I hope you have a better day tomm
Btw we did have a member ( Stephanie ) who had those headaches that caused symptoms like those of a stroke , that’s so scary !!! She hasn’t been on in a while , but I will send her a message and ask her to please contact you
Hang in there
Hugs
