Today I was well enough to take my two chihuahuas to the pet store and get them each a new toy as a little Token of my appreciation for their unwavering companionship! Don’t know what I would do without them!

Managed to make homemade chicken soup & black bean w/smoked pork stew.
Yum, they both sound great! I am cooking today too, a big salmon fillet with potatoes, carrots onions & garlic! Good for what ails ya!

Today was a good one nice crisp air in the morning and was able to sit outside with the dogs.
My son is going to get accepted to the 504 program at school for his ADHD I found out today
Then I got the mail and my mom out of the blue sent me $500.00 When I have been stressed about how to pay bills.
I had run out of pain medication and I found 2 I left for reserve :) I forgot I had them.
Just couldn't ask for a better day and I am so grateful for everything.

I'm so excited for him its been so hard with him trying to stay with everyone else in class I really pray this helps him allot and he wont have any set backs because he is now in 5th grade and it is just going to get harder every year.

Here's my positive for the day...
I am one year medication free and I am OK.
I have accepted the fact that I can only do so much, as I am one person... and my well-being is the most important thing.
I've learned to power thru rather than wallow.
So today I am starting a whole new adventure.
Well, extra big congrats then!!! God does answer our prayers...in His time! I know your son will feel a whole lot better about school now!!

I went for a hike with my new friend and my new little Shih Tzu. It was her first hike and she did great! My friend did ok for having 2 hip replacements, it was more of a stroll than a hike but we had fun, and I didn't overdo.

Today I spent the whole day having fun with my 17 month old son. I took some medication and got to be a normal father! I chased him, tickled him, hugged him, played in the sandbox with him, and took him to the park. It was a great day today!!
awesome things for today( actually yesterday now) was able to make dinner for my family and run to the corner store for a minute...
I hade some alone time while the kids where in school.
I made a chocolate cake today my kids loved it that made me happy.
I was able to spend time with the kids even if it was just chatting about school.
we ate to together as a family again. :)
