Hi Wings,
Wow, you had a really great day, that's wonderful!!!
Hugs, Kimberly :)
I woke up this am to wonderful sunrise.
My dogs all greeted me me with wagging tails and wiggly buts which made me smile.
My boyfriend has had three good days in a row, I am truly blessed.
I was happy to spend my evening with a close friend out side in the back yard with the fire roaring. We sipped wine and had some good laughs. We could hear the football game in the distance.
My morning started off nice with my son climbing into my bed to warm up because his room was cold. ( still adjusting heaters, blankets, and pjs for the cold nights). Our parakeets chirped cheerfully to greet us in the am and request breakfast.
I woke up with enough energy to hit the gym and try the exercises my physical therapist gave me. No pain.
I had a great lunch with my mom at a new restaurant.
Wow, that is terrific Dozer! It is so nice when we have good days like that! Thanks for sharing. Hugs!
More to come....my son and parakeets let me sleep in until the warmth of the day woke and the parakeets alarmed me - it was their lunch time.
Enjoyed my drive on this warm sunny day with my windows down and my hair blowing in my face.
I was successful at making a delicious pot of coffee.( I am terrible with the exact measurements for the perfect pot). That cup helped with the mild hangover I had.
avenk, That's fabulous!!! Coongratulations!!
Hugs, Kimberly
yeah!! that is great news, Avenk
I woke up early and felt good enough to make my homemade gluten free dog cookies for my 4 legged kids. That took most of the morning. Its was an overcast day not to hot or cold. I put yogi’s harness on and attached his leash , we went for a long leisurely walk around town to the tune of a mile and a half, and still felt good enough go out to dinner with Howie. It was an amazingly relaxing day. Rare but truly appreciated.
My husband & I worked 4 hours on Saturday afternoon in my family cemetery. He used the chainsaw cutting out dead limbs & brush from out of the fences while I started mowing on the back part of the cemetery. It is a fenced acre lot but there are only about 25 graves so there is a LOT of mowing. I stopped the mower to help load up the brush & limbs and get it out of the cemetery. We took a little break to eat some cold watermelon that we grew in our garden. After our break, Jimmy continued to weed eat & trim around the tombstones while I finished mowing the cemetery. He loaded grass clippings in the wheel barrow while I swept the grass off the tombstones. We bagged up all the old faded flowers from off the graves and replaced them with fall flowers. When we were finished and had everything packed up & on the trailer for the ride back home, we admired our work and how nice the cemetery looked. We told each other that we would be so sore when we got up on Sunday morning but at least it was worth it! While I have to admit that my body is sore this morning, I am grateful that it is not debilitating, at least not yet, lol! We’ll be getting ready in a bit for worship services & so very thankful that I can still do things like this & have good days! So very thankful to have the best husband in this world who helps & supports me. So thankful that I can still get up & go to church to worship-so grateful for all the wonderful gifts that God continues to bless me with.
I was able to descale the coffee machine, 2 shower heads, water jug & water pitcher. I was able to do all of the dishes. I was also able to put my reading lamp up (Huraaay) & my daughter surprised me w/a lovely lunch!!!
That is awesome Luna! Hugs!
I was able to mow my backyard tonight. Whew, I am feeling it now but it is a good sense of accomplishment.
That's awesome, Auburnm!!! I hope you are feeling ok today!
Gentle hugs, Kimberly :)
I had 8 hours of great sleep last night an then to add to that I had a wonderful 2 hour nap after I did some shopping. For the past week with the FMS and the amount of things to do with my job I was lucky to get to bed by 2-3 am and had to be back working at 8-9 am. It felt so good to get the rest. My attitude was much better today, especially after my nap.
May seem trivial to some but to me it was heaven.
Thanks,
Bobby
To me, sleep is never trivial, that is awesome Bobby! I am happy for you!
Well I do have something positive to post that may help others who have foot pain like I do. I went to Payless shoes yesterday and I found the most amazing tennis shoes. They are Champions the brand name that is. They have memory foam insoles in them and they are so light weight and comfortable its almost like your not wearing shoes at all. I have had aching in my heals and the balls of my feet and it goes all the way up my legs. I bought these shoes yesterday and had my first day an night pain free the minute i took my old tennis shoes off and put them on I felt relief and so far so good i'm on my second day with pain free feet. Maybe these shoes may help someone else get relief. I hope so.

Great to know!!!! I have been buying and wearing Birkenstock sneakers for years, and they are very comfortable, but not as lightweight as yours sound. Thank you for posting this!
Hugs, Kimberly :)
I am so proud that you were able to get some much needed rest. I work Monday thru Friday and Friday nights are positively glorious because I don’t have to get up early and maybe it will be a good night for sleep! Lucky me-tomorrow is Friday! Zzzzzzz!
Hope your Friday will be a restful one leading up to a nice weekend! HUGS!
