POTS anyone?

I don't usually boast about one particular vitamin type or brand over another, but when it comes to vitamin C, I must say that I really like EmergenC. They are very easy to take and not only contain Vit C but also pack in multiple B's and several other minerals. They also taste decent and are pretty close to the effervescent vit C tablets that my doctor prescribed abroad. I am also not a citrus fruit eater, at least not any type of orange and I am not allowed my lovely grapefruits, so I do like the large amount of Vit C that are in each packet. I would definitely recommend this product but for anyone with a prescribed vitamin regimen already, I would run it past my dr first because it does have other vitamins and minerals in it and certain vitamins can be overdosed and / or interact with the absorption rate of other vitamins that you could already be taking, and it is better to just be certain.

I was actually recently told by my cardiologist he believes I have "Severe POTS". I faint a LOT and my legs are so swollen from the blood pooling in them and I am constantly dizzy when I stand from laying or sitting. I am going next week to have a Tilt Table Test done. I have been doing a lot of research on it lately, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Ben's Friends is starting an EDS Forum. I will let you know when it is set up. It should just be a couple of days.

Hello,I hope this day finds you well. I've been researching POTS for the last few days and just found your discussion about it. I've been getting very dizzy lately and having severe headaches every day.I've been diagnosed with gastroparesis, gerd, ibs,a hiatal hernia and fibromyalgia and it seems like all of these together with the dizziness and the headaches maybe related to this condition. After reading about you and your condition,I've decided to speak with my doctor about this.Luckily he is open minded and doesn't think that he has nothing more to learn.Don't know what kind of medication that you take but I saw a discussion on YouTube about using beta-blockers to help with this. So sorry for what you're going through but also very thankful that you posted this. Hugs,Holly
