I've been on a roller coaster for the last three years with my health. I have a family history of Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromayalgia. Most of the doctors I met with think my symptoms are due to depression. My symptoms have been so severe I have started and left several jobs in the last few months, and being forced to leave a second job. I was also evicted from my apartment a month ago and currently living in a hotel. Becoming homeless is a real possibility. Hoping to secure a job that is not stressful on my health. If anyone has any resources I would be really grateful. Is it also weird that I'm starting to feel better on this Prednisone?
Hi Dani . Sorry you are having such a rough time . I don’t know what state you live in so not sure what resources are available to you . Perhaps you could contact the HRA (human resources administration ) and find out what you can do or get advice , suggestions , phone numbers , applications . I wish you all the best

I would imagine that it is hard for you to see a doctor right now, but when you do, maybe a rheumatologist would be a good place to start. Fibro patients, usually, do not respond to pred. Maybbbe you have something different going on an a rheum would be a good place to start when you are able.
I am so sorryt hat you are struggling. I can't imagine not having my support system while dealing with any chrnoic illness. Hopefully, you will be able to get to where you are able to support yourself, and not hurt all the time.
