Does anyone know someone that has a registered certified service dog for fibromyalgia? I am very interested in maybe training my dog that goes everywhere with me already. thanks in advance.
Hi Heather,
I know that this subject has come up before and it's a darned good one! Let me look on-line and see if I can find anything and then get back to you. If I can't find something on-line, I'll check through our old discussions for the threads about this subject. Be back soon!

Back - Looks like some fibro people have used this organization to get their dogs certified: http://www.petpartners.org/page.aspx?pid=302
If that site doesn't pan out, please let me know and I'll look some more. And if you do get your dog certified, could you please let us know how it went? I have a dog whom I think would be a good candidate for me and would like to know first hand how it works.
Take care and much luck!

Service Dogs take years literally to train...they are not a family pet. People who genuinely need them are having undue anger directed at them now because of others who claim their pets are service dogs. they are not socialized, or i have heard not even house trained. Some restaurant owners have complain loudly about people with service dogs have relieved themselves in their restaurants.
Please sign the pledge or watch the video about Service Dog Fraud.
