So Angry I'm Shaking

I ordered a bed, and due to incompetency, it's not here when they said it would be. This shipping company is giving me fits, and I just dread the flare that's gonna hit offa this. I can't even retype it, so here you go: Shipping incompetence My blog. I may have to take time off work when I didn't plan to, which looks bad when I'm interviewing for a promotion. I am so sick of this. Can't one danged thing just go right for a change? I seriously do not need this level of stress.

Dear Seattle meg,

So sorry you had to go through this. As one who sold major appliance, then furniture, I can tell you that in-store delivery and service is always so much better than through a contracted agent. There is accountability and responsibility involved.

Yes, things get damaged, misplaced, drivers get lost, addresses get copied incorrectly, but not getting a call shows that these people are not paying attention. You should have been called by a driver and a customer service person and/or manager. This is just plain bad business.

I'm sure you are shaking mad, sorry you had to go through this, good thing you did not get rid of your mattress. I don't think you will be doing business with them again. You also need to let the place of business where you purchased know how badly this was handled.

Hope you are sleeping well in your new bed very soon.

Oh, I've let them all know. I got a call back and I'll get it tomorrow. I specifically said to give the driver my phone number, but it's another day off work. I made sure to tell the bed company what the shipper they chose is doing, and I'll be complaining to the BBB, since they have the logo on their site. The exhaustion of all this is starting hit me now. Sigh....

Now is the time to get a price adjustment for your loss of work! You should be able to get it too!
