Tips on how to wake up in the morning?

Hey all,
So today I was like a zombie. No matter what I tried I couldn’t seem to shake it, I even had about three cups of coffee. Nothing. Any ideas or advice on how you all manage to wake up In the morning and avoid the complete zombie haze?

Hey, i find that I do gentle stretching at night before bed followed by meditation. I was really skeptical about meditation before this and everyone kept telling me to try it and it really worked! It helped me relax at night so much and was able to fall asleep deeper that in the morning i wasnt as bad.Im not going to tell you that i am completely out of the Zombie haze every morning but it definitely helps! I hope this info has helped!

Thanks for the advice both of you. I really appreciate the thoughts and ideas.

I also watch tv or just have the tv on to help me sleep. Every sleep doc advises against it, but it helps take my mind off of the pain and helps me sleep better. I usually just turn the brightness down a lot so you don't have the flickering lights problem as much.

I have thought about trying the little 5 hour energy drinks but I am not sure if that would affect my body in a good or bad way. If the fibro will let up more maybe some yoga would be good to energize.

Currently I take soma throughout the day and at night (only muscle relaxer that has worked for me), ambien at bedtime and usually four advil with it to help with inflammation. I know, feels like a lot. Soma might have the side affect of drowsiness, but I am not sure. I have taken ambien for a long time though and sometimes it doesn't even work to help me get to sleep, I just lie there awake.

I wish neurontin had worked for me, I had terrible side affects with it though. I am glad that you have more energy in the morning, please send some my way haha!

EAT AGAIN ITS HELPED THE GENTLE STRETCHING EXERCISES AMBIEN SAVELLA PRE-EMPTIVE RESTING AND PACING ITS HELPED BUT IM NOT 100 PERCENT THE SAVELLA HASNT HELPED I HAVE A STUFFY NOSE AND THE LEGT NOSTRIL HAS A BIG SCAB ON THE OUTSIDE THAT GOES INSIDE ILL BE GLAD IN 1 WEEK MAYBE ITLL BE GONE HOPE THAT HELPS
