I was under so much trauma for years. I was in a marriage and was being mentally and physically abused! Then after divorcing, I got in a relationship with a man for 28 years who was mentally abusive. I definitely choose the wrong men! Then when I got a flu shot, it all happened! Full fledged Fibromyalgia. I just unexpectedly lost my dear son in June 2012 , only 38 years old. The trauma and pain goes on. I have had 4 knee surgeries and just got a hip replacement. My employer has been treating me terrible after 27 years of being a great employee. They are trying everything to get me out! So, I work on days that I should be in bed!! This is so hard! It breaks my heart how I am treated at work by management and some employees. Most employees are my best friends, but some go out of their way to be so nasty! Management never has asked me how I’m doing, welcome back from disability or anything, they just slam me about parking closer to the door since I need a walker or cane. Or ignore me. I’ve just about had enough!
I say it is time to fight for disability and spend your time volunteering and fighting for causes that are dear to your heart.
